My best friend is a girl and has been since high school. Nothing will change that. The girl i dated before i met my wife wanted me to choose between my female friends and her and i choose them. Why can't more people trust their mate? My wife has male friends one is the God Father to our baby. He is kind of my friend and a great guy but when he calls it is to speak to her I am not threatened by him Heck i am allways trying to fix him up with girls

I think Billy Graham has a great perspective on this subject. He will never allow himself to even be in his office alone with a lady because it 1. allows people to wonder what is going on. and 2. it opens up the possibility of something happening. He says you never put yourself in a situation that would make people talk and you never put yourself into a situation that could possibly be taken the wrong way. We are human and sharing an intimate part of our lives with someone of the opposite sex only puts us at risk for harming our relationship with our significant other. I would not want my significant other in a relationship with a girl for that reason alone. I would trust him but I don't know how she is feeling and what if she is having marital problems sometime and leans on my spouse for support and it leads somewhere in her mind. It just has the possibility of causing problems and I do not want to put that in my marriage.

Directly from Leykis 101:

Unless they are gay, male friends want to have sex with their female friends.

If the guy didn't find the girl attractive in the first place, he probably wouldn't have spent time with her in the second place. He just couldn't close the deal. Even worse, he became her friend. If they both get drunk together and she offers sex, he will take her up on it. Be very wary of girls that spend too much time with their guy friends.

If she disagrees with the above, have her call and flirt with one of her guy friends and ask him if he would come over and pound her tonight. Most likely he will be ringing the doorbell before she hangs up.

I asked this question myself many times and always come to the same conclusion. I trust my husband but still don't like it when he gets chummy with females. The only explanation I can give you is that the heart has reasons reason knows nothing about.

Because sadly men cheat and for women that have been cheated on its just hard. Some women can get passed it but some cant. Everyone is different when it comes to these type of things.

You've answered it yourself...insecurity. They lack self confidence and are not trustworthy themselves. Thus they have a suspicious mind. It is also a form of control. These people are negative and themselves can never be trusted or expected to develop a higher meeting of the minds..

well, man, if you are the way you say, you're very mature and strange. Not many men (at least the people i've met during my 23 years of existence) would like his girl to hang out with another man. It's just institive i think
