the bottle is refrigerated on its side right now,is it good or bad to store this way??????

The ignorants aside
In general white wine (and Champagne) do not hold more than 10 years. It must be said that Dom Perignon is one that hold exceptionally long, But I wouldn't trust a 37 year old bottle. If it were bad you'd have to chuck the stuff out and you would lose out on a nice investment.

the older the alcohol the better it is supposed to be. It doesn't expire, like milk

I think the older it is the better it is, isnt that the point of wine?

I'd drink it, alcohol is alcohol it'll be a crime if you throw it away.
