Good question ! What to do , we are like this only ! While everyone talks about Hinglish , Tanglish and whatever other local dialect influence one may have , India as a country speaks Indian English . there are so may unique terms which we Indians only use ! I think a lot of that stems from mentally translating it form our mother tongues and giving it the unique expression " actually " !

I think that is an English thing.
Remember, England ran India for a long time. Many Indians still speak English very well, with British accents. And if they are in America, it probably carried over.

Younger generation Australians do too,,, Very annoying ,. Some even start a sentence with "In actual fact" as if a fact can be any thing else BUT actual

Actually it is because of they use to talk in their own language , while explaining particular situation. thats why in english also use equal word "Actually"
