I really like popcorn... It is a little healthier than most
snack foods. If you do not salt it too much, or put
too much butter on it....
It satisfies the crunch part, satifies the salt part. If you
sprinkle just a touch of light Karo syrup, it satisfies the
sweet part(like Kettle Korn).

The crispy, salty texture should do the trick!

Corned Beef Hash
Serving Size : 6

1/2 stick Unsalted butter
2 cups Small-diced yellow onions
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/4 Tsp Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Chopped garlic
1-1/2 pounds Corned beef, chopped
1-1/2 pounds Idaho potatoes, peeled, small diced, and blanched

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

In a large oven-proof skillet, over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Add the onions. Season with salt and pepper. Saute until golden, about 4 minutes. Add the garlic and corned beef. Continue to saute for 2 minutes. Add the potatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Continue to cook for 4 minutes. Remove from the heat.

Using the back of a large spoon or spatula, pack the mixture firmly into the pan. Place the pan in the oven. Cook for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and slice into individual servings.

Is this a sweet, salty, or healthy craving? There are so many things you could have, kettle corn with cayenne pepper on it is always good and a big glass of cherry flavored Kool Aide, some cheese, salami, crackers and a glass of wine, or a nice slice of coconut cream pie with a glass of milk. I hope that I have given you enough options.
