LoL, you would have to be pretty desperate. The only thing I've ever used nutmeg for is pumpkin pie and applesauce.

Yes it is true. Because nutmeg is a derivative of mace, it does have an effect when consumed in large amounts. In his Autobiography, Malcolm X chronicled getting high from 3 tablespoons of nutmeg and 8 ounces of water. It seemed to work for him, I've never tried it, but I do like nutmeg, anyhow.

Yeppers. I've tried it and gotten a heck of a buzz. I was 26 years old and weighed 250 pounds. You have to eat a certain amount to go with your weight. It was 25 packed pills for me.

My buddy got some blank gel caps at the health food store and a bunch of nutmeg powder. We filled the caps up and I was the only one stupid enough to try it.

I ate all 25 of them and nothing happened at first. It took almost 2 hours to feel it. I didn't even realize that I was buzzed till my old lady noticed that I was Chinese eyed.

It is a cross between a pot and an acid buzz. Mellow but not real over powering. I took a nap and was still buzzed when I woke up (about 1 hour). I even ate dinner and kept the buzz going. It only goes away with time, like drinking.

My buddy got this idea from his brother who is a health food nut. He told us that it would work but to do it more than once, would make you sick.

I'm older now and I DO NOT suggest that anyone out there try this. The buzz was not worth it. I am sharing this with you for informational purposes only.

Haven't tried it, but have heard that you can, indeed, get high on nutmeg.
On the other hand, it does have a wonderful 'warm all over' effect when you sniff it if it's sprinkled on top of hot chocolate, or hot rum, or -- hmm. Maybe I'll go mix up another hot egg nog and throw extra nutmeg on top.

Ain't nothin like the real thang if ya know what I mean!

First, take a tablespoon of castor oil to coat your stomach(or vegetable oil if it's all you have, you don't want a hole in you esophagus.)
add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 oz nutmeg, the older the better, to a cup of hot cocoa and drink it down fast. You need to drink thirteen 8 oz glasses of water, within the next hour, very important.

One of my friends, a few years ago tried it. It takes about 8 hours to start feeling it. He said he took it and went to bed. When he woke up, he was high from it. I don't remember how long the high lasted but I do remember him telling me the come down was a b!tch. It's probably not worth it.

you should stay from all substances that can get you high.its not good for your health. getting high can get you in the hospital, make you loose friends and create mayhem in your life. no matter how safe you think it is , an overdose can get you 6 feet under. i kno a guy who tried a normal substance similar to "your nutmeg" substance and he is in a asylum right now, in fact he almost died. Everyone has a different metabolism and each person react diferently to any or every substances in a different way. Be careful of what you try as this can end up in a casualty [even if it was lol just for fun)

Yes it is true but takes vast amounts. As well, wheat bread has the same chemical substance as LSD and people have been known to experience a rush after eating several loaves.

Never tried it, but to each his own. There are better things in life than getting high on spices.
