I loved them both, but in different ways. But it would be hard to categorize love, as a child I loved being held in my mothers arms, but I also loved playing catch with my Dad. There are moments in your life when you need a specific type of love and you have temporary favorites. Now my Mom and Dad are gone, but thinking back, I can't say whom I loved more.

Love begets love. It is usually the mother who loves the child more then the father bearing all the pains of carrying the child in the womb for 9 months and attend to the child with lots of sacrifice and she definitely deserves all the love more than a father.

I would have to say i don't love either of them. My father left the home when i was only 9. Before he left he was physically abusive to both my mother and to myself. My mom never even tried to leave him, even though many times he would leave me with a lot of bruises after he had supposedly punished me for "being bad". My mom also is a control freak. Everything must be perfect, or to her liking or else it isn't good enough.

I am not trying to hurt you, but just being practical.
There is no comparison between mother n father. Even if you dont get along with either of them ...you still love them from within. Dont you ???????????

Mom. My Dad never said much. Even though she psychologically hurt me more, she gave me the most love & attention. Always felt distant from my Dad. I feel bad admitting this though. I do love my Dad. Even if he is practically a stranger...

my mom,shes always there when I need her.she worked almost 24hrs/ day to produce money for my college.she trust ,adore me @ respect the decisions I made.When I divorced my ex-husband she told me nothing but face the future not the past .Think best for my kids @ their future.My father,he love himself.He didn't care about us(mom,my 2 Brod @ 2 sis), if were eat already;if we did our home works;if we still have money for our needs.He has other women but still lived w/ us that time .He has no time for us or dint want to have time for us.But still I love @ respect CZ hes my father.
