Yes, you can, but only under specific guidance outlined by the IRS. I have written off a significant portion of my 5 PCS moves in the past 4 years. We all know that the reimbursement only covers DITY moves, the rest leaves alot of out-of-pocket expenses that no amount of receipts or filing with Finance will cover.

Only if you didn't get reimbursed for part of it or entirely. Anything the military pays for can not be written off by you.

i don't think so cause the military pays you to move. but you can go to legal on base and ask them.

YES ..whatever was not paid for by the military....There are limits..read the IRS rules..

Only the amount that the employer in this case teh NAVY didn't cover. Probably not much....
