I know there isn't one Native American language. That's why I wrote "any tribe will do." Thanks for paying attention.

there would be no one answer to that because there are many different languages spoken by native americans. here where im at even there are several different tribes and they all have there own dialect, in navaho one can say hello or goodby by saying yah-tay (that is misspelled but it sounds like that) you should figure out what particular language you want to know then google that and translation, for example (navaho translation) you should be able to find you answer there

Most Native Americans usually do not say goodbye instead they use a phrase "until we meet again" or "we should meet again". In Cherokee this phrase is pronounced "Doh nah dah go huh ee"

In the Disney Pocahontas movie I think she uses "Ah-nah" for hello or goodbye when she's talking to John Smith for the first time (I'm pretty sure it's goodbye I, because then Smith says "I like Hello better."). Will that work? :)
