Your question is confusing. What is "joins"? Besides, the new Jerusalem is very, very big.

I'm not too sure what exactly you're asking--do you want to know how many people will be here on the new Earth as described in Revelation? I don't think there's an answer to that.

jengen, u misunderstood that scripture.

is means coz of adam's fall, sin gained a foothold in humankind, immortality is cancelled & the spiritual connection adam have with God directly was severed (DEAD). so we the decendents r born imprefect, tendency to sin, have spiritual connection severed (dead) & real physical death. God rescue plan is to send a 2nd adam (JC) to retify back to the original state. He stay sinless & offer myself as sacrifice to pay for the debt of sin started by the 1st adam & human past, present & future. so if u accept JC as your Saviour & Lord, u r spiritually make ALIVE again. u get back the connection with God spiritually, that why time to time u hear christian talk about they daily talk with God coz it's true & its available to anyone who want JC. so its DEAD TO SIN FROM THE 1ST ADAM & ALIVE IN J.C THE 2ND ADAM.
