You know, those retainer like things with a fake tooth on them....I'm guessing 200bucks?? (i remember my dentist saying something like how it would cost 200bucks to replace a retainer..)

The cost is usually greater than $300. Just shop around.

Wishful thinking... The process of making a flipper is a bit more involved than a retainer. It is much more durable. I'd guess it would cost more like $400-700... My own fee is quite variable, depending on whether it has clasps or not, depending on the patient, depending on what comes next (like an implant or nothing), and depending on my mood that day.
