I have this sneaky feeling that the US will pip Europe to the famed trophy.

Your patriotism is admirable, your pulling for the underdog noble and your judgement is askew. The USA will get their clock cleaned. A weak team on a European course in cool wet weather conditions and several of the players are slumping while the Europeans are mostly playing at the top of their game. Europe 16 USA 12 (and I am being generous to the US)

No way. The US couldn't do it in the past, when they had a much better team than this year's, which has 4 rookies. The Europeans know teamwork and how to win in match play, unlike the Americans. The US' best player, Tiger Woods has never taken much of an interest in the Ryder Cup to begin with, and he just lost in the first round of the match play championship. I don't think that's a good omen. Paul Casey is on the European team, and he won that tournament last week. The United States captain, Tom Lehman, even admitted that they were underdogs. All signs point to a blowout, with Europe coming out on top once again.

nope they have lost according to my msn messenger. europe has 16 points. the US has 8 and most of the singles matches are done. even if tiger had won the other two matches that would have only been 2 more points. so to many rookies and im guessing the pairings didnt work out for the US.

I think so. We will see a new Ryder Cup Tiger as this is this is the next phase of his being the best of all time. He does have something to prove, no to mention this recent crap with the tabloid. He will play great, and this will raise the play of his teammates. I think we'll get this one.
