I've been hearing a lot of stuff about "contemplative Christianity"

what have you heard, and what do you think?

Having read the book, I can say "money hungry"
He's always wearing that hawaiin shirt, must be nice to be on vacation 24/7, no?

God's word should be in the bible, not in anything that comes out of Rick Warrens own feeble mind.

I've started reading his Purpose Driven Life book two times now, and haven't gotten half way through either time. It starts out good, but after a while, I just don't totally agreee with him, so I loose interest in his book. It is a good book to help you understand why God put you on Earth, why he made you, but I don't completely agre with him.

I agree with some of the other people that's answered, he's money hungry. I don't remember the exact verse, but, I do remember something like "It's easier for a camel to walk through the eye of a needle, than a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven" I don't think he has read that verse in the Bible.

He seems to be promoting "Christianity Lite"

I have heard that Rick Warren uses a watered down version of the bible.
