i been dating this boy for 3 weeks now and we really want to meet each other for the first time but he live far from me and we both in school.

I think it can only work if both parties are compeltely honest with eachother and not trying to be someone their not. then i dont see why it couldnt work

YES!!! I met my wonderful boyfriend of 3 1/2 years online. I think if both parties are honest its THE BEST way to meet people. You learn about someone from the inside out instead of the outside in. The shallowness is thrown out the window because looks come in second to personality and heart. I am a huge advocate for online dating and I think you should go for it.
One piece of advice, even though my situation worked out good, I did not meet my bf alone for the first time. Have him fly out to where you are and take a friend with you. Just in case! =) Good Luck and Enjoy!

to tell you the truth, the odds of it working and extreamly low. i tried it twice and both failed. i kept them going for a year but because of diffaculties i was never able too see them. made me sad but on well. i say if you like this young mad then try it, and i will give you some advice. have him come see you not you see him. that way you wont be in a strang place where you have no friends, also when he comes to see you have some friends near by just in cease can be too carefull with people on the net thes days. rember this is just a small relationship and you schooling is much more importent.

YES it does work. & its a good way to find out everything about each other before you meet. because on line people say a lot of stuff they couldnt say to your face.
