Im a nurse and i just had a microdiscectomy done last july on my L5-S1 disc. it's to hard to explain on here and it also depends on what disc ur having done! But i'll be totally upfront and honest with u, it was hell for awhile-its been a year now and im still recovering! Don't expect a quick recovery but as long as u follow ur dr's orders and look at it with a positive attitude-eveyday will and should get better for u!
