I understand that most people use Lo Wu as the cross border from HK to Shenzen but I would like to know other options. Thanks.

It is the best way. Get on a KCR train and get off at Lo Wu station. Or another option which isnt that good (I think) is by bus. I have never been on a bus that goes to ShenZhen.

I dont know why you don7t want to use Lo Wu but no matter what you should check if you're from a country that requires a passport to enter mainland china. You can go by boat or by bus but I too think train is best. I've already done it a month ago and I looked up getting from shenzhen to hong kong from another post on this site, read all the options, and decided train was my best bet.

The best is to go by train. You can go by bus and subway, but the train is better.
