Is there a specific order in which to put the golf clubs into the golf bag? My golf bag has 5 slots I think..is there an order in which they go or which golf clubs are grouped together?? Thanks.

The last few years golf bags have been changing and the way they fit on pull carts or carts. Most of the time the woods and putter go in the back slot. The back is where the strap connects to the bag. Some people have a special tube or clip for the putter. Now in the middle to slots you can put any Hy birds and long irons. At least two in each. That leaves the front to for the short irons and wedges. Now if you carry your clubs and walk you want to make sure you get the bag balanced. You don't want to have to many golf balls or not enough to spread the weight out.

Look at the bag. All golf bags have a slope to them. Put the shorter clubs on the lower side. The middle clubs in the middle and the longer clubs in the upper side/ or tall side. It might be a good idea to put them in numerically. Makes it easier to find the one u want. And they will have less chance of "bag chatter" which is them banging against each other and making small nicks and dents in them. Your clubs last longer and look nicer over the long run.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.

You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

The longer clubs should go towards the strap so the club heads don't nick the shafts of longer clubs when the bag is carried. This will cause the shafts around the heads to be weakened over time and possibly break.

Arrange your clubs in order so that they are easy to find when you are playing. Usually, group the putter, SW together - the W,9,8, - the 7,6,5, - the 4,3,2, - 5W,3W,Driver.

Arrange them the way you feel comfortable. Make a habit of always replacing them in the same place. They are then easier to find and you do not spend time looking for clubs. Also if you are serious about Golf, this will come in handy to keep the "routine" the same.

No, just carry around the clubs that you like to use the most. You don't need to carry all of them with you. I am glad to see that you like to play golf, it is a fun sport!

I put them in so that the longer clubs (woods, low irons) are neared the carry strap, to reduce the heads banging together when you're carrying the bag. That's just my preference, though - you can do it any way you want.
