Go to the local florist, and buy a plant that is easy to maintain and easy to grow. Tell your boyfriend that so grows that plant, so grows your love. Having sex under the table which the plant sits on could serve as another example of your special gift to him. First, serve him his favorite meal and beverage and/or herb. Then, surprise him by showing him the plant you've hidden on a table, as you point to the blanket and pillows on the floor underneath. After playing blanket bingo, the both of you should retire to the bedroom for part 2, and a blissful night of cuddling, as you fall asleep. It may accelerate matters if you wear sexy lingere while serving dinner, and that special perfume you've been saving for special times like this. Look out for the fireworks! Mood music!?

I have this funny feeling YOU are in fact his perfect gift and he would like nothing more than to just be moving in with you! So just try to make the day light, fun and stress free...that he will really appreciate! As far as making in memorable, do all the "cliche things" you tell me not to say... like dinner and then sex on the floor...trust me that will give him something to look back on every time he walks in the door. Just tell him how proud and happy you are to be with him, he'll love it.

Is there something from when he was a kid that he really loved? Basing the gift on that would show you do actually listen to him. LOL. My dad was blown away by the gift of cream buns because he used to steal them from the other kids, so the giver knew he really likes them. Ask one of his oldest friends they may have a hint for you. Make him a nice dinner to go with it ( manly food - steak and chips) with candles. Food makes men happy.
