I understand the question. You would not understand the answer.

I'm not sure whether the universe always existed or not. To be honest, I really don't care one bit. It doesn't change the fact that I have all this homework in university due over the next few days. It doesn't change the fact that I have a French, Econ, and Int'l Finance test next week. It makes no difference to me whether the universe has always been here or not.
I just have more important things in my life to worry about than this. I also have things that are infinitely more important than wasting my time worshipping some god that doesn't exist and living my life based on what a book full of fairy tales says.

You are almost totally incoherent. Lay off the drugs, man!
On to your "question"... Atheists never claim to be part of a movement; atheism is a personal choice, not a religion. What some say isn't true for all, especially since alternatives exist for your argument. We could have evolved faith as a byproduct of our attempts to understand our world, rather than faith always having existed, just because the universe did.
Consider this: we sometimes see faces in clouds, so is it so hard to make the leap to the belief that there are really faces in clouds? If clouds have faces, they might be alive, and if they're alive, they might be powerful, especially since rain falls from them, so let's worship the clouds and perform some sort of dance or sacrifice to the clouds, maybe burning something into smoke?, to attempt to communicate and trade with the clouds so that they'll bring enough rain for a good harvest but not so much to flood us! Just be seeing faces in the clouds, we have the beginning of religion. Religion didn't have to exist before that event.

Your questions, as always, make no sense.
"some of you think that universe always exists ..
then you must accept that the imagination of god must always exists too"
The latter does not logically follow from the former.
You're an idiot.

The real question is is it harder to believe that something we see, smell, and touch on a daily basis (matter of the universe) always existed, or something we have never been able to experience any testable, observable, or verifiable way (god) has always (or ever) existed.
I'm voting matter.

What? We can't have the "imagination of god" unless we have a creature that is complex enough to have consciousness to make it up, so no, the "imagination of god" is not eternal. That logic would apply to unicorns and gobblins too.

actually you as a christian must think that God always existed.
So how long did he sit around in a void all by himself, what kind of sick twisted thoughts could have come of that? to creae a creature and give him free choice?
also most atheists admit we do not know how we got here, to assume where we came from without proof is religious

Your premise if faulty. The building blocks of the universe existing does not imply minds always existing.

ill agree to this.
youll probably agree that in ancient times, there are unexplained things.. ( explained by "gods" ) ( or "God" )
so that means imagination of God exists. so i guess believers would exist.

I think you must have been absent the day that they taught everyone how to formulate coherent, logically consistent thoughts.
