Anyways, I havent had any money for days (I m a stay at home mom) and today he got money I asked him to send me some, but he whined that it cost money to send it (western union). I wanted some money so we could o to Galaxy land tommorow for the day (my 22 month old) since we are very bored of being in the house all week.
So he bitched and told me to wait until he got home, which would be like 7 pm tommorow, another day of nothing.
Do I have a right to be mad.

Yes and no. Yes because of the way he handled it and the fact that it should be joint money in a marriage...no because there are lots of things you and your lil one can do to get out of the house...Go to a park, Go on a nature walk and find pretty leaves, Have an outside picnic with him, Go visit some friends or family, take some riding toys outside, join a play group...etc As a stay at home mom I do understand the need for getting out and doing things ocasionally.

My husband is also out of town this week for work. I do work and have my own money, but try to keep my work hours confined to school hours so that I can be home with the kids. Because of this, money is tight right now. I also pay for most things for the kids (clothes, presents, outings, school supplies, pre-k, etc.). When he goes out of town, I have him write me a check to cover any unexpected expenses or a sitter if needed (I sometimes have a client in the evening or one of the kids has an appointment). He gives me a hard time, but does it. I remind him that when he is away he gets to eat, shower, watch TV, and SLEEP uninterrupted. This is a blessing in our house. If I am to be home alone with the kids and have to manage for a week by myself, he can give a little too.

If you have food and clothing, electricity and all necessities, no you should not be mad. He asked you to wait on a trip to an amusement park for ONE day.
It stinks and he could have handled it better but you really don't know how good you have it.
How many women out there have husband's who refuse to work or who beat them.
Life is short.
Live in Love every moment you can.
What if he got killed on the way back?
How would you feel about being mad at him then?

Well ... yes and no. I can totally understand that you dont wanna be in the house bored all day ... but just be glad that fun is all youre deprived from right now. Has he sent enough money to make sure you guys have food while he's gone? If he has then just give him a little break ... dont get me wrong...i'm NEVER on the man's side .. but I learned that you can't sweat the small stuff. If I were you I wouldn't make a huge deal out of it .. but like the other person said ..withhold sex for a while. If youre fun can wait (according to him) then so can his. When he comes back I think you should treat yourself and your son to something extravigant..on him, of course.

Is the budget tight? It does cost $30 to send money via standard wire transfer services... That could be an extra $30 for something else, like GAS!

he's working. Stash a little cash for the next out of town trip and enjoy life when he gets home. Don't get mad, plan better.

get a job that pays for more then just the babysitter, then u can spend. no you shouldnt be mad. if you dont agree with him, write a letter and explain why u feel the way you do. ask him to write one back...thus saving a screaming match where u both lose.

I would be LIVID, smash him a good one. Though you should find a park nearby,where you could meet moms with other kids his age and make play dates for him. Take turns hosting and moms can do margaritas.
