It might depend on what else you eat throughout the day. Apples seem to fill me up moreso than a lot of other foods.

Most reputable experts will tell you that there is no truth to the idea that you gain more weight if you eat late in the day rather than earlier. It is still a matter of how many calories do you take in and how many do you burn off. So, with regard to the apple, you would gain weight if your weight has been stable and you are now adding additional calories every day, but if your question is, "Do I gain weight if I eat my apple late at night rather than earlier in the day?" then no, you don't.

The general rule for eating at night is that you should have you last meal at least 3 hours before you go to sleep. Thant meal can be a full mean but its better if it is composed of more protiens and greens than carbs.

An apple as a snak before bed is not a big deal. Apples are about 35-45 calories and are mostly water, which is so insignificant considering the average person needs anywhere between 2500 and 3500 calories per day.

Anyway, best of luck.

No not unless you eat a dozen apples, an apple pie or pastry every night then you will gain weight. With a moderate diet and exercise atleast 5-6 days a week you can keep your weight under control.

All that matters at the end of the day is how many calories you've eaten and how many you've burned. If you've burned 2,000 calories and eaten 2,000 calories before you eat the apple; and the apple is 100 calories, then you'll gain 100 calories worth of weight; which would take you 1 month's worth of apples to gain a pound.

Well if you eat it past 9 then you may gain weight. If you eat things past like 9 I thinky you gain weight so I don't think an apple is any different. But some people don't think that, I heard it a lot so to stay on the safe side I don't eat past 9, or try not to.

I dont like apples. I am sure if I did and ate one I would not gain weight. You know an apple a day keeps the doctor away. So you should be fine and healthy.

well you shouldn't eat after 7pm for many reasons.

eat that apple in the morning.

at night your body slows and has many processing to do with liver function, burning fat, processing fats, burning calories, making cholesterol and other things.

that apple will just come along and slow things down to a crawl.. the body will have to slow it's usual night time workout and digest that apple and break it's minerals down and convert the rest into waste.

normally most of your weight loss happens at night.

If you don't consume more calories than you burned then you won't gain weight. Apples are a great choice for snacks or desserts.
