an afghan muslim man once told me that when his brother in afganistan was reading an english newspaper how an extremist muslim shot him dead. his only mistake was reading an english newspaper.
can you please tell me the reason behind this savage behaviour ?

This is irrational behavior, and there is no explanation for it. Some fundamentalists, Muslim, Christian, athiest, whatever, are so afraid of anything different than what they believe and to which they adhere that they would rather kill than change. An English-language newspaper is something different, and in the radical Muslim world, a symbol of the West, which is so different that it must be evil. There is no explanation.

The West is regularly deemed Satan by most Muslims in the middle east.
In Iran there is a special agency set up that outlaws certain 'western' words...there is about 1500 words that are illegal to use in Iran,,...really !

i think of that our ideas of hate so a techniques as God is in touch are way off. it style of feels there's an mind-blowing paradox: God hates sin.
