My Army recruiter told me to eat oatmeal for breakfast and after dinner and not to cut anything out of my diet.

Oatmeal or any other fiber or whole grain cereal can help you lose weight. I would recommend that you exercise as well. What I find interesting is the your Army recruiter told you this. Is it because you are over weight and need to lose in order to inlist?

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

Did it work? Please! Oatmeal helps to de-constipate you, that's all i know. Maybe if you eat oats instead of food you would lose weight because it makes you feel full, and has a lower calorie content

I guess becasue it is healthy and not fattining. MY mom eats it for breakfast and she really did not cut anything out of her diet. So i suppose it works cause she lost 10 pounds in like a week.
I think you should eat more healthier foods though also like salads for lunch fuits though.

wow i see the army isn't into well balanced diets.

oatmeal has fiber in it.. makes your bowels move with ease.

clean you out a bit.

i'm surprised he didn't tell you drink a pint of prune juice along with it.

Oatmeal sucks all the calories and bad stuff up. Seriously. Its cool.

I know it helps you poo, so that would get rid of excess weight, not necessaraly fat, but weight nonetheless!
