14 year old is too young for dating, so is a 12 year old. My rule is no dating until at least 16, period.

There's two years difference between them, and it is perfectly normal for the boy to be a little older than the girl, but at 12 years old, don't you think she's a little young to be dating anyway? I didn't let my daughter out of the house on a date until her junior prom, and she was 16 going on 17! Call me old fashioned, but at least she kept her self-respect and did not make me a grandmother before my time.

Love works in wierd ways. The girl I am going out with is 17, I am 15 thats the same amount of years apart. My mother is 35 my dad is 39.

It is ok, as long as he takes care of her.

No! Twelve-year old girls have no business dating anyone, and neither do 14-year-old boys. They're still children. The fact that they're nice and Christian has nothing to do with it. What do their parents say? I can't believe they would condone such a thing. As my parents would say, "You're not dry behind the ears yet." They're still kids, and as such, are not anywhere near ready to date. Group activities are fine for that age, but that's all.

well, it really does depend on how he treats her. but you can't live your cousins life for her! just be there for her no matter what.
and girls PROBABLY shouldn't be going out too young, or when they get older (but not old enough) they get into SERIOUS relationships, that could pretty much ruin them.
but, like i said, just be there for her!
