Don't worry, this often happens. Don't let it affect you too much. Keep strong in your faith and you'll come through it just fine. We all go through periods like this. It doesn't mean there was anything lacking in your conversion. It may mean there';s something lacking in your conviction; you'll need to ask God about that one. Ask Him to reveal it to you. Your convictions may still be fine. Only God knows that for sure.
Don't forget, once you accepted Christ as Savior and Lord of your life, you acquired an enemy you hadn't had before. He may not attack your new faith overtly, because you'd be on your hguard against that, but he may try to attck it sibtly. He may bring in doubts, apathy, or even a critical spirit. There are all sorts of ways the enemy may try to get you to fall away.
Are you an 'enjoyment reader?' If so, try reading CS Lewis' Screwtape Letters. He addresses the law of undulation very well. In a nutshell, Lewis writes that all humans have waxing and waning passions and appetites for just about everything, so it's no surprise that this applies to their spirit as well. The enemy may make good use of this natural undulation, however, to try to get a human to fall away because his spiritual life isn't on fire anymore like it was at first.
Also, read through the Psalms, if you haven't done so in awhile. King David went through some awfully dry spiritual seasons and wrote well about them. He held fast to the truth, and so can you. Go back to the discplines you used when you were first learning about your new faith. Don't rely on feelings. Pray whether you 'feel like it' or not. Read your Bible regardless of how you feel about doing so. Feelings lie.

Sometimes I read the epistles to get a "jumpstart" or anytime I really need anything and don't know where to go, I think of "911" Psalm 91:1. For some reason I love Psalm 91, it brings me comfort and reminds me of how God is. Start reading some Psalms.
Another good thing is to get involved in your church. Maybe find some way you can serve someone. I've also found (I don't always follow my own advice) that if I help someone else in anyway and stop thinking about myself, it helps alot./
I think more than anything, you may be having some spiritual warfare. Satan may be telling you lies that you aren't "spiritual enough". I feel that way sometimes and I've been saved 9 years. What I've found is just making some motions sometimes will bring me back closer to God. For instance.....reading the One Year Bible (if I don't know what to read). I make myself pray. I try to be conscious of praying.....like whenever I see a police car, I pray for that police officer and his family. I thank God for them and bless their family, etc. I also might start a huge prayer of thankfulness to God and seriously take an inventory of what I'm thankful for. Just know that God is always with you even if you don't "feel" it. It will come back, always pray that it won't take a crisis to bring me closer to Him. I hope that helps a little.

It is healthy to examine yourself and see if you are in the faith. Once you have repented of all sin (see Psalm 51, 1John 1:9), don't doubt God's promises. Doubt produces fear. It is also a great insult to God--if I don't trust you, it means I think you are a liar.
Here's a recipe for success:
Read your Bible every day . . . without fail. Every day. Value the Word more important than your food (see Psalm One).
Obey what you read.
Develop a tender conscience.
Never doubt any of God's promises.
Obey the Great Commission by sharing your faith (see John 14:21).
There is a wonderful little verse in First John. It says "Hereby we know that we know Him . . . if we keep His commandments." I don't "feel" God's presence. If I lived by feelings, I would conclude that God wasn't with me. This, then is how I know that I know Him--because there is something in me that wants to keep His Commandments. I have a new heart with new desires. Before I was saved, I couldn't care less about loving and obeying God.
Do you believe that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved? Do you believe that if you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from ALL unrighteousness? Do you believe that you are a saint (by the grace of God)?
If you don't believe His promises, then you are calling God a liar . . . and there is no greater insult to God than not to believe His promises. See First John.

Good scriptures? You don't need a bunch of flawed, man-made baloney to make you feel "very spiritual". I don't get the need to feel spiritual. That is an imaginary experience that can be achieved through brainwashing.

Read Psalms or Proverbs. I usually just let the Bible fall open and start reading aloud. Also Ephesians is good.

NO MAN SHALL SNATCH THEM FROM MY FATHERS HAND. MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE AND THEY FOLLOW ME. Now the best thing for you to do is go to your concordance and cross reference some of these words in these parts of scriptures I've written. If you look them up yourself and find them, you will remember them and they will mean more to you and stick with you longer than if we just give them to you..
