I watched the video below posted by another visitor here on Yahoo Answers. It was very interesting to say the least. If the witnesses are truly false prophets, what do they hope to accomplish with their religion? Is the organization that directs the witnesses INTENTIONALLY doing this because they are involved in some type of Satanic worship, or are they truly deceived and believe they are doing the right thing? Such a well planned organization must have a focused objective, even if the majority of witnesses taking direction from the organization is not aware of that plan.

Also, the main issues I don't understand with the witnesses, is how they have changed certain scriptures, and their explanation description of Jesus in terms of divinity. There are a few of their teachings I agree with, such as certain holidays which conflict with God's word, and a few other things. However, it's hard to say, because even Satan mixes the truth with lies. It is a problem when more faith is put in religion, than one's relationship with God, regardless of what religion you claim as a christian.

These facts about Jehovah's Witnesses are perhaps relevant to this question. The more one compares this Christian religion with others, the more remarkable it is shown to be.
1. Jehovah's Witnesses have no paid clergy. Yet they remain tightly organized with more than 6.5 million active Jehovah's Witness preachers (about 16 million associate themselves with the religion). Even fulltime preachers and workers at their branch offices are unpaid volunteers.
2. There is no elite class among Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the few 'anointed' among them enjoy no special privileges in their congregations on earth. An anointed person (one of those relative few with a heavenly hope) is not elevated above his fellow congregants in any way, and he may not even qualify for appointment as a simple 'deacon' or elder. There are no titles; EVERYONE is addressed as 'brother' or 'sister'.
3. No person benefits economically from the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even the 8 to 20 men who serve on their Governing Body receive simply room, board, medical care, and reimbursement for certain personal expenses according to the exact same provision as every other branch volunteer.
4. About a hundred men have served on Jehovah's Witnesses' Governing Body committee during the past 125 years or so. The vast majority of them have spent the vast majority of their adult lives volunteering for their organization's purposes, and the vast majority have died faithfully and near-pennilessly while still under their legal 'vow of poverty'.
5. Amazingly, Jehovah's Witnesses did not splinter as a sect from some other religion. Instead, a truly tiny but sincere group of bible students studied only the Scriptures to determine the will of God. Thus their religion remains absolutely independent of and not carrying the sins of Christendom's history, yet carries the authority of Christ's teachings.
6. Despite the distortions of anti-Witnesses, throughout their modern history Jehovah's Witnesses have refused to claim divine inspiration or infallibility for their teachings. They have pointed to the bible (and not any particular translation) as the only inspired infallible means of knowing God's thoughts. For over 125 years, their teachings have been presented as merely the results of sincere bible research by imperfect but godly humans.
The Jehovah's Witness organization has several objectives, among them:
1. Glorify God.
2. Obey Christ.
3. Teach and encourage congregation
4. Protect and warn congregation
5. Preach to mankind about coming Kingdom blessings
6. Warn mankind about coming Kingdom judgment

I didn't see the video, but I was a Jehovah's Witness for decades, so I don't really need to watch it to answer your question.
Jehovah's Witnesses are divided into 2 classes.
(1) The rank and file which includes elders and even most members of the 'anointed 144,000. ' The elders might be considered 'clergy' in some religions, but their authority is very limited.
(2) This is the group that has ALL the authority. The small elite group of men known as "the faithful and discreet slave".
The authority of the fd&s is unquestioned. No matter how ridiculous their teachings or doctrines, they are unquestionably accepted by the rank and file who are thoroughly and completely blinded by their blind faith in the authority of these few men.
The main objective of the fd&s is to maintain their authority over the rank and file. They have one main doctrine: the faithful and discreet slave (them) has all the authority given them by Jesus, and if you want to be saved, you must do what they say, believe what they say, and preach Watchtower doctrine, whatever it is at the time, to the masses. Only in this way can a person be saved. Nearly everything else they teach is subject to change, with the exception of this: You must associate with the faithful and discreet slave to be saved.
I would also think they will never change their view about hellflire or the trinity, but given that they changed their original and most cherished doctrine - that Jesus returned invisibly to the earth in 1874 - anything is possible.
Officially, they teach that all of the remaining ones of the 144,000 are the faithful and discreet slave, which is ridiculous because a non-governing body member of the 144,000 who is a woman has no authority whatsoever. And even if a man is an elder and one of the 144,000, he has no more authority than any of the other elders. They are all servants of their Watchtower god, the Governing Body.
They are not Satan worshipers. The rank and file are truly deceived. As to whether the individual members of the governing body remain deceived after they're elected, I don't know. One member, Raymond Franz, was forced off the Governing Body when it became known that he recognized that the 'f&ds' were simply a group of men with way too much authority, imposing their personal opinions on the rank and file, not just in necessary matters, but in matters that should be left to individual conscience. He subsequently wrote a book called 'Crisis of Conscience' which offers a most enlightening look at the GB behind the scenes.
Since the f&ds have over 100 years of false prophecies to their name, it would seem they must themselves realize that they are false prophets, but since they have invested their lives in this religion, it's not likely they're going to admit it.
They are a sect that began in Protestantism, regardless of what Achtung says. Otherwise, why did they start out accepting the Protestant Bible, wearing crosses, celebrating Christmas and referring to the Catholic Church as Great Babylon? Their Proclaimers book even acknowledges their Protestant influences on pages 48 and 49.
So the objective of the FD&S is to maintain their authority over the rank and file. The objective of the rank and file is to convert everyone they can, believing they have found the true religion.

I think you answered your own question.
"If the witnesses"
If the video really represented the truth.
If the organization are involved
The next question is
"What if the video was a lie?"
What if the organization is telling the truth?
One of my personal favorites was when a person said they had proof.
C.T.Russel' one of the translators of the NWT in court said he couldn't speak Greek or Hebrew.
CT Russell died in 1916, The NWT was translated in the 1950's
Since Jehovah's Witnesses believe Eccl 9:5 & 10, that the dead are conscienous of nothing,
Translating the bible 40 years later would be very hard to do.
An honest look into the New World Translation, will show that it is an unbias translation of God's Word.
Don't take my word for it, Read the book:
Truth in Translation: Accuracy and Bias in English Translations of the New Testament.
by
Jason BeDuhn
Associate Professor of Religious Studies, and Chair
Department of Humanities, Arts, and Religion
Northern Arizona University
He said that the NWT is one of the most accurate translation available today. Including their wording of John 1:1.

I say don't believe everything you see on video & don't listen to all the biased garbage you hear about Jehovah's Witnesses (or any other religion for that matter) until you check it out for yourself.
The only way you can do that is by finding out what they believe from the Witnesses themselves.
Don't you realise you are going to get biased views & fabrications? Anyone can make a misleading video.
Don't be mislead.

hey those JW'S ARE THE ONLY ONES THAT say 'we are a religion of peace' and actually abide by the claim.
Every other religion on earth whether they claim to be Christian or Muslim or whatever, all are people who are willing to shed other mens blood in the name of their country, race or religion.
Bravo JW's.
You have listened to Jesus, and heard that those that live by the sword, die by the sword.
And for the JW bashers and haters, read about the wisdom of Gamaliel!
And then let God do the judging!

their main objective is to decieve people with false doctrine using a false bible that supports their deception. Pray for them, they do bible study very often using watchtower publications to keep them focused on the lies.....they say Jesus is "a" god and is the angel Michael and that there is no hell and that they should not vote, celebrate birthdays or serve in military.

Only a set amount of people can make it to the highest "tier" so the only reason they are doing good works is because they need to convert others in order to improve their chances of making it to the top tier/salvation. Basically it's a cult
