I think they are lucky to have found someone. My mom is 55 and her true love is 37. They are so unbelievably sweet to eachother, and great friends. They have both been through some tough times in life, and seem so happy to be together. Age only matters if it is really wrong, like a teenager with someone considerably older. (Illegal!!!) But I think, as I said before, people are very lucky to find someone who makes them happy every day.

My first thought would be, "Wow, look how happy they are". I have always been attracted to older women. No surprise that two of my favorite movies are "The Graduate" and "Harold and Maude". Harold's attraction to Maude is a bit extreme (he's what, about 20, and she is 80?). Benjamin Braddock in The Graduate is 21 and Mrs. Robinson is in her forties and is more understandable to me. As I am now nearly fifty an older women to me means sixty or so. Whatever, to each their own. I know that most people would look on May/December romances with skepticism, assuming that there must be a benefit to the younger party, generally financial. This is not always so. Nor is there always some underlying psychological issue. Sexual attraction is a complex and varied phenomenon. One thing that I do not find attractive is a woman trying to somehow 'disguise' or misrepresent her age with overdone makeup, overprocessed and dyed hair, or, worst of all, surgery which is always noticeable and freakish looking. So don't always look upon age gap couples with derision.

When I was 21 an old man told me some thing I agree with 100%!
Age is some thing that tells when you were born and when you died! Other wise it is irrelevant!
If two people find love and happiness together, That's what counts!
you should ignore the comments of idiots!

well how old is she cause if she is that old then well I wouldn't say that it is romantic but if not then I will have to say that it is great cause all my dates are older that that of I am I mean I love the way when they order me and when I do what ever they ask and I mean there ar no arguments just she says some thing and I will agree with that I mean that is really great that ws some romantic thing that I ever think was the best times that I will have..........

I do not think anything. However, my ex husband was several years younger than I and we always got funny looks. He and I would always just reach over and kiss when we would get those looks. It was pretty funny at times

I think one is too old and another is too young..
Just hope situation were the other way round..
But who am I to talk so much..
As long they eventually become a happy couple.. I will be happy enough too!!
