I have wanted to move to AZ from Socal for a while now, and everything seemed to fall into place, except I got into a relationship. She wanted to go with me, but then changed her mind because she didnt want to be too far from her family. If I move I will have to wait a year for residency before I can get in school there, and if I stay it will take me less time to finnish college. The thing is I really dont like it here. But she is very special to me, and I have been in alot of relationships. But I cant decide what I want to do, and I need to let my work here know if I am staying so I can keep my job after Dec 1.

When you make a decision like this, it is life altering. I hope you have visited AZ several times and can truly in you heart say that you want to move there...If so, then follow your dreams. If the relationship is meant, it will work... this move will truly be the test of the relationship... maybe she'll end up moving, you'll move back, you'll find someone new.... I think i would let her know where i stand...you do not want to give up on your move, if in 3 months she ends up dumping you....talk to her asap... if she can't leave her family at this point in the relationship, maybe she does not feel as deeply for you...OR MAYBE YOU HAVEN"T TOLD HER HOW SERIOUS YOU ARE ABOUT HER...

What would it hurt to stay one more school year in socal and see how things go with the Ms. ?? You can take school there and then move here later if it all works out .. and once you get her more committed to you and you are more committed to her, you will both have an easier time making up your mind.

Talk to her again about moving if you REALLY want to go. Maybe if you take a trip there together, she'll change her mind.

Can't you finish school in Socal first? You said it'd take less time for you to finish school in Socal.... so maybe if you do that, it gives you some time to figure out the relationship too.

Everything points to staying where you are. Finish school; see what happens with your relationship; keep your job!! You say you don't like it where you are but you have too many good reasons to stay for awhile that leaving would not be the best idea.

Not really sure, but I think that you should way the pros and cons and decide how things would need to work out. Being here what would happen if you stay or if you go. How would it help you or hurt you. Would you be happy or unhappy. Maybe even what you think your heart says.
