just follow your heart. You only live once, and if you think it is right, then don't doubt yourself. If your heart is saying no, then don'e\t

Well, if you're both parents then you're not young kids who might make a mistake or not know what they want. You've probably both been around and know what is out there. If you are in love, GO FOR IT. Plus, if you can stay together after building a house together -- then you're meant for each other. ;)

I think it sounds great...I think that the kids will enjoy seeing their parents this happy...Good for y'all. Don't wait, most of the time it's when people have been together for a while and then wait to get married or buy a house, that their marriages fail.Good Luck:)

Not a good idea. It's too late to hear what we think because the house is already being built. Tread lightly. Keep an open mind. Do you really know that much about him?

So many questions, so little time. Good luck.

This may sound cold, but I think it is absolutely imperative that you discuss this with a lawyer. You need clear legal definitions of how this house partnership will work. I moved into an apartment with my last girlfriend after only knowing her for 6-months, and that was a huge mistake. It was very difficult to figure out who should leave, etc. once we broke up, and that was just for a simple lease.

Protect yourself and your kids - get legal advice.

It may be convenient but you'd better not do this! You're going to have money, time, and emotions involved without a committment. You'll end up the loser! You just met him??? You don't even know who he is and how he might ruin your life.

Mabe it is a little to soon to do that. Have you asked your children how they feel about it because if my mom met a guy and wanted us to move in with him and did not ask me how i felt about it i would be upset. I'm not saying that you need to listen to your kids because you are the adult but children need a little more time then adults. But if you think it is what is best for you and your children then i think you should do it,

if this is love at first sight you have my blessing but until the house is built you need to find out things about one another cause you can't split a house down the middle have a very deep conversation and how do the children get alone what is your likes and dislikes good luck

You mentioned convenience before love, in my opinion this will end badly and you will be back here within six months asking us what to now that you have this house together but want out.

If you're so in love get married..Why get into something that will be too easy for either of you to get out of? and why risk your credit which will suffer if you break up and he leaves you with the house and pymt.
