I've been dating a guy for a few months and we were hanging out everyday and calling eachother non stop for the first 2 months. A few days ago, he uses the "I need space" excuse. I've also noticed he hasn't been returning my calls and he barely wants to spend any time with me. I asked him why and he said that he wants to take things slower because he wants us to last. But how do you go from moving 100 mph to 10 mph in a relationship?
I've been thinking the worst and trying to not let him hurt my heart but its too late. I'm crushed inside. I don't know if I should believe him or just move on because he is sending me mixed signals. He keeps calling me like he wants to be friends. When I ignore his calls and give him his "space", he calls and calls. I'm really confused and hurt at this point because as soon as I think I'm getting over his "I need space" excuse, here he comes calling me and I talk to him because I really like him. I'm tired of the games. What should I make of this?

It's JUST what it is...games. Listen, when a guy 'wants a bit of space', there's usually something that's 'caught his eye'. He wants to play with it, BUT, he doesn't want you to play...he wants you to remain devoted to him. MEN! They want the best of a relationship (sex) AND the best of freedom (more sex) usually. DROP HIM. Trust me, he's not sitting around doing nothing...he's FREE while you're still hanging on his every call. If it's OFF, tell him he must NOT call you anymore. He can NOT have his cake and eat it too. Get on with your life.

you let him know that your not gonna deal with little kid games and its either he's gonna be with you or not. and if theres some bullshit excuse that comes out of his mouth again and your gut instincts is sayin thats bullshit then just be like ok call me when your ready.. and if i dont answer then that mean i got someone else. it can be hard but this guy sounds like he wanted something and he got it and bounced. dont let a guy play mind games with you.. your better than that.
