ABC's Rosie O'Donnell told a nationwide audience this week that "radical Christians" are the same as radical Muslims who piloted hijacked jetliners into New York's Twin Towers, who chop off the heads of individuals and who bomb innocent children in suicide attacks. O'Donnell made her comments as host of ABC's "The View."
Has she lost her mind?

O'Donnell was saying there is no difference between the radical Muslims who kill in the name of Allah and Bible-believing Christians who follow the teachings of Jesus.
Neither O'Donnell nor ABC apologized for the comments. Had she made similar comments about minorities or homosexuals, there would have been an apology, and she would have probably been fired.
The message from ABC is that bashing Christians is acceptable, even comparing them with murderers who kill in the name of Allah.

I agree with her. Think about it. There are many radical Christians in the world (especially on here) wanting to kill Muslims. The Moral Majority have been dropping bombs on women and children overseas. What's the difference other than the religion? It's sick. I don't think she has anything to apologize for. She's just speaking the truth. Look at the history that Christianity has with the Crusades, the Inquisition, etc...

Ugh. I guess that shouldn't be surprising. Did you hear of the comment she made about diaper rash? She said to get a dog and have the dog lick the baby's bottom because it has an antiseptic in the saliva----said a DOCTOR told her that. (((shudder))) That woman is bonkers. I hope Star Jones is at home laughing her butt off now that Rosie is on the show making these outrageous comments. I think she keeps crossing the line. I wonder if she's been told to do that. She's totally uneducated and I believe only has a high school degree. She honestly has no idea what she's talking about. I find her comments different levels of disgusting.

I wonder why Rosie is given any attention about her rantings. She is no authority on Christianity, and a much less authority on Islam.
She is a mere entertainer, a jester(ess). Her job is being a clown, and if people are going to base their political,moral or religious beliefs on a clown's rhetoric, then we have sunk lower than i thought we were.
I pray for her conversion since she is living a life that is anti-christian.
She is part of the radical left who is unknowingly undermining our resolve against terrorism. She obviously does not support the soldiers and hates America.
Her tripe only gives strength to our enemies as they use this against us, and divides us at a time when we should be uniting against the Muslim attack against civilization.

I try really hard not to watch or give ear to people like this whom the enemy will only use to distract us and weaken our witness. We, as Christians, will be persecuted, lied about, and accused of all manner of evil. The best we can do is live a Christlike life so that those who mock and scorn and accusewill be proven at fault and we will stand blameless. This can only be when we let God bew our shield, our fortress, our defender.
Spend your time and energies ministering to the sick, the poor, the widowed, the orphaned and the lost. Speak the truth in love and allow the Holy Spirit to bring conviction, discernement and wisdom. Let the mockers and scorners continue in their foolishness- there will be a day when their mouths WILL be closed and EVERY knee will bow before the majesty of the almight- this will not come by our strength, striving, anger , etc.
It is not easy to hear , it can be frustrating to endure but God did not promise easy- there will be trials and tribulation but have faith- He has already overcome the world and through Him, so have we!!

lol, ok i don't care for rosie either, but she has a point. she said RADICAL christians. have you all forgotted about the terrorist attacks from christians in Ireland? have you forgotten about abortion clinics being blown up, an act of terrorism from you guessed it RADICAL christians. If the majority of people in the middle east were christian do you think that it would make them more peaceful? the answer is no and that is because where ever you find little or no education, you are going to find more extreame religious nuts who believe in nothing but their faith and will do anything for it, doesn't matter what religion it is.

Well big difference between radical Christians and radical Muslims. God/Jesus and Allah are two different Gods. second Christians are taught the fruits of the spirit(love, peace, joy, kindness, patience, etc.). Muslims are taught well I don't know, I see the opposite in them. when was the last time you saw a video with a christian chopping off someone's head or leading suicide attacks??? thats because there are none!

Although she was a little harsh I have thought the same thing myself. The Native Americans were almost wiped out by Christians. The southern slave owners were Christians. Sometimes the truth hurts. I just hope the radical Christians and the radical Muslims never become allies. Both seem to have similar agendas. For every one to conform to their rules or don't exist at all.
