Hello,
your parent's have to have a good reason why you should not date this young man any more. I don't think it'd because you've been together too long. If that was the case you would not have been with him that long. There's another reason and you have to sit down with them and ask them why. your parents love you very much and don't think other wise. One more thing do not disrespect your parents or allow your boyfriend too, because in the long run men can come and go, your parents will be by your side forever. P.S. think before you react good luck baby.

Boyfriend of 2 yrs isn't long. don't think that is the real reason yr parents want u to break off wz yr boyfriend. maybe u should sit down wz yr parents & talk nicely to them about it. find out the reason and the problem could be solved. Good Luck!

Well just think of all the things that happen when you are with him. Does he do or say things to you that would make your parents think that you should not be together? It may not be b/c you have been together to long. Just don't do anything rash, be calm maybe if you talk to them they will come around. It's better to know who you're seeing then to be hiding it.

Well, it is definately your decision. It also may make a difference on how old you are. If you are young it may be important for you to see what else is out there. It is still your choice though. If you don't want to see what else is out there you don't have to. If you feel you have what you want then there is no reason for you to break up. Especially if things are going well between you two.

Live your life, and tell your parents to get a life, unless they have a better reason for you to dump him...other than you two have been dating too long.

Its not up to your parents. dont break up with him just because youve been toegher for too long. unless your parents start punishing you about it, i would try to ignore best i can.

Play it cool and back off a touch. Don't be all lovey-dovey in front of the parents. Things like that.

Ignore your parents . . . as long as you love each other, keep the flame alive.
