Let's say I break into your house. Let's say that when you discover me in your house, you insist that I leave. But I say, "I've made all the beds and washed the sidhes and did the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house)

According to protesters supporting illegal immigrants, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my kids, and provide other benefits to me and to my family. If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my right to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest, um, except for when I broke into your house.

And what a deal it is for me! I live in your house, contributing only a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothingyou can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yeah, and I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me.

Why can’t people see how ridiculous this is?

I agree 100%. Fine they want to be here the do it legally! Know what it really means to be AMERICAN! Americans have fought for what we have for 100's of years, nothing was handed to us. Tell me was there Welfare when the Pilgrims arrived? Nope...So get a green card, get a job at normal American pay, and work for what you want. It's the land of the free not the come and get it free!

Unfortunately, we have citizens who feel the same way.
Work hard to earn an honest living. Payday arrives, your enthusiastic and realize, your paycheck states 'Bus fare only!'.
The U.S. government needs to step up and stop playing with legal citizens social security; mandate the american english as the official language (which I thought Reagan had done in the early 1980's); enforce there brother corporate america, to extend a feasible standard of living, with health benefits and no bias. etc...

We're making this thing way too difficult. Here's how we solve this. For every illegal that comes across, we send a useless American. Now I say this as a flag waving American, so let me explain 'useless'.

We can send:
Lawyers
Democrats
Most of Hollywood
Madonna
Hillary Clinton
and so forth.

Trust me, they'll BEG us to end the whole thing.

I hope you dont mind. plus that car i was driving, i crashed into your car on the way home and i dont have insurance, so you will have to foot that one alone. oops sorry again.

Sympathize with them for their plight but condemn them for their lawlessness. Mexicans do not endear themselves to the U.S. of A. when the first step they take is to break U.S. law. Does Mexico welcome illegals? If illegals demonstrated in Mexico would they do so without consequences? American expatriates who live in Mexico (Retirees, etc.) do not send money to the U.S. They, unlike Mexican illegals, bring money into the country in which they reside. Also, every year about 1 bizillion U.S. tourists drop megabucks into every Mexican tourist trap from Matamoros to San Cristobal. U.S. nationals put money INTO Mexico while Mexican nationals take money OUT of the States. Now, who is crapping on whom here???
