My guy broke up with me not because another girl but because at certain points in the past I was being too clingy. He's kind of shy, isn't really popular with girls, not really a ladies' type(I was his 1st girlfriend in his 21 years and we've been together for 9 months). But he does have a lot of brothers in his fraternity and they have a lot of activities together. So even without a girlfriend, he has a life. Since he thinks I called too much, now I stopped calling him b/c he wouldn't pick up the phone anyway. Our communal Mike asked him about 5 days ago: "Are you gonna get back together?" He said, not sure, but he's thinking about it. So I just don't understand whether he meant he's thinking about getting back together or about whether to get back together. What do you think? Would a guy like that want me back?

Aren't thinking about getting back together or thinking about whether to get back together the same thing? Maybe I don't understand. The fact is that people quite often get back together after break ups. This doesn't always mean that things will then work out. They may break up again or may stay together. It sounds as though you are hoping that he will want you back. If you want him to take you back then maybe you should see what you can do about it. Don't act too fast though, it sounds as though he needs some space and time for a bit. Just do something to keep you on his mind, but don't do too much. That will just push him away. Maybe drop him a line in a few days and just ask how he is doing.

So he has a life, do you? I mean that in all sincerity, do you have a circle of friends and activities that keep you occupied? No guy wants to be the sole social life for a girl. Get the hint when he doesn't pick up the phone. Don't be so needy and see where it goes. Also, don't grill his friends about his thoughts. If you have something you want to know, deal direct.

Maybe, the keyword was "clingy". If you are able to change that there probably a good chance of getting back to you, b/c men are simply creatures, we are not to complex feed us, love us, give us some room, and let us keep some of our money we're generally happy. Hope this helped.

It is all the same either way if he likes you he will come back. Don't act desperate it will turn him off, but don't be to distant it will make it to hard to reunite and make you seem disinterested. If your his first girl he will be drawn somewhat back to you anyways because of that, don't force it, I think time will be your best chance in this situation. I know love hurts, but be cool just not too cool.
