I met this guy in a bar he was very into me, he followed me everywhere in that bar and we spent most of time together. Before I left, he asked my number and he called me 2 days later asked me out, i said ok, but he just messaged me said he is busy tonight and won't make it, and ask me if i can meet him next week.Btw he is very cute and nice I like him. But i don't want to look needy or desperate, which I'm definitely not. Q1, Is he really busy or he just changed his mind? Or is he just playing?? Q2,should I say yes when he asks me out again?

He definitely deserves a second chance because he could have very legitimately been set upon by obstacles out of his control. So take it easy and accept the next date without a grudge or a chip on your shoulder. You can be 'aware' to watch and evaluate how he is in the future, but do not worry so much tonight. Do something you enjoy doing (it looks like maybe you are already doing that) try to think back to the night you met him and remember that if he were a real stinker he would have asked you out and never called to explain he couldn't make it at all. There are plenty of guys out there like that you know! Write again and let us know how it turns out on the second first date! Good luck!

he could be busy should give him the benefit of the doubt as it is the first time he has done it. For some reason i do find this a bit odd as if he was busy that night he could have made it the night after or before. this is probably what i would do i hate to play games but guys must love it as it is how it keeps them interested, if he calls to ask you out again, what ever night he suggests say u cant on that night and say to meet during the day if that is if he is not workin or on a sunday, do something really casual that way u can see if he is really interested but make sure that u tell him that u have something on that night, and that depends on what time u meet up try and make it by about 2pm the latest cause then u leave by 6:30pm as u have something on at 7:30-8:00pm if he then calls u again then u know that he is interested if he doesnt he just wanted one thing and we all know that that is. guys will be guys its hard to write all this so i do hope that it makes sense, sound as if u have been busy and still is sound interested but not over interetsed if u know what i mean good luck

Q 1 yes there is a chance he is busy and there is also a chance there is another girl but that should not matter to you cause you just met him. If you had been together for sometime thing i could see you being upset.
Q 2 You should say yes if you want to go out with him. You met him in a bar and i am sure he had something to drink. It might be a good idea to go out with him to see if you like him before you spend all this time getting upset that he canceled. He might not be who you think. Go out with him and find out.

You are getting WAY too out of control over this. You may not be desperate, but you sure are antsy. I know the feeling well. Watch and see how things unfold. That is an art that all women need to learn. I never even thought of doing this until my 50's. It is so much more fun feeling R E L A X E D . The way to feel this is too keep from thinking about him so much. Try not to analyze everything...I am a world class champion at that. When I don't do my "I feel nervous and out of control" things, i'm so much happier. I keep busy doing things that make me happy. I get totally involved with my job. I stay focused. My clients are happy,good feed back...I feel happy. I take walks,eat properly,keep my house clean and in order. THEN, when things go my way, I'm in good shape. If things go south, I'm still in good shape. One thing I have learned..thanks to my darling brother...it is not this guy's job to make me happy. That is my job. Good luck,sister.

How old is he? Anything over 23 and he's probably married. Don't think just because his friends were around that they would have said something. If you really want to find out call his number at 10:00pm, if a lady answers or if he says he's sleeping.....yeah right....then you'll know. But there's probably wrong with you. Go back to the club:)

Guys dont play nearly as many games as you might think. If he's asking for a rain check then it probably means he actually wants one. After all he never had to even call to cancel, he could have just not shown up. If he asks you out again, go for it. :)

Did you ever think just maybe this man could be married or have a g/f.. he was needing something that night and he found you to keep his time? I am just wondering if he wants to see you he will make the move.. Continue to live your life , enjoy you, it should be when you find time continue to date and enjoy life

It's very possible he really was busy. If he asks you out again then you should accept. If it happens on a regular basis, dump him in a heartbeat.

well whats his reason, if its because of something important then he may be interested, if not then its very, very strange! maybe he has run out of money or something and doesnt want to tell u cus hes worried u will b put off, or another woman perhaps if hes that good looking
