get it a Knog. you can get it at any pet supply store. Don't waste your money on the filling that they sell. (it's like cheeze wizz) Just get some peanutbuter. Freeze it and the dog will be entertained for hours.

I agree that the Kong toy is a great toy, it lasts and lasts without breaking or wearing out. I also heard not to use the cheezy stuff. Someone told me it got all over her house and was a big pain to clean up. Plus it's a waste of money, it was $7 when you can get cheez wiz for $3.

Sometimes I find the less you spend on a toy the more the dog likes it. Like my dog loves to chew on empty pop bottles. Sometimes I will go to the Dollor Stores and get cheap toys there. Also, for stuffed animals, ask people you know with kids and ask them for their stuffed animals after their kids are done with them or try to find them at garage sales cheap. My dog has those chewed up so fast, it isn't worth spending a lot of money on them.

Kongs are always good, Rope tug-toys also..Alot of big dogs like to drag tires around...(i dunno why:) Also try a Jolly ball..Its actually a toy for horses but my black lab absolutely loves hers..Its really tough or course, being made for horses, and has lasted for over 5 yrs...You can find them at any farm supply or horse specialty store..

A really good chew toy is sold at Albertsons and its shaped like a bone and smells like bacon and the little "bristels" on it help to freshen the dog's breath.

my dog's favorite toys are stuffed animals, and she just LOVES them! They need to be big, kind of floppy, and very plush for her to like them. I find them for 50 cents/a dollar at garage sales. She carries them around the house, sleeps on them like a pillow, knows the name of all of them, and just loves her toys in general!
