I recieved a hitachi 55 inch plasma tv with a shattered screen. I recieved a replacement set, but the shipping company doesn't want the shattered set back.If the screen is replaceable for a reasonable price. SCORE!!!!!!

Screen is the most expensive component of a plasma TV. The value of a plasma TV with a shattered screen is about $100.

The manufacturer does not want the broken TV back because it costs more to ship it than it is worth.

Get real. If it had a value they would not have let you keep it. Get a quote on a repair but don't get your hopes up.
