Yes, I have prayed for them shortly after the 9/11 attacks. The first thought that came to mind was that they didn't deserve prayer, but then I got to thinking - who am I to think I deserve God's grace more than anyone else? Sure, I never murdered anyone. But I sinned enough to keep myself separated from God for eternity, and only Jesus could bring me or anyone else back to him.
To the Christians who say we shouldn't pray for the terrorist or who feel they can never be saved: Remember Paul in the Bible who terrorized and murdered Christians. God got a hold of him, and he became one of the greatest Christian missionaries ever.

Islam did not teach terrorists to kill. So what make the different if the terrorists come to know about Lord Jesus? Probably they will just use Lord Jesus name to do terrorism act.

No.
I prayed that if humanity religions are based on the principles of trust, love and understanding - then humanity should only be focused on love and understanding each other - not revenge and killing each other. And start trusting each other.
Oh, I'm not a bible-believing christian - never mind.
I'm quite a sinner, and one that holds humanity in low regard. It's 2006 (well in the west.) and yet we are no closer to being advanced than we were back before Jesus was born, heck - before Moses was born. Nothing has changed! Well, our tools - whoopee! What about our mental progress toward godliness?
Let's pray we can spiritually and mentally take the next steps soon!

No , because we are to pray with in the will of God. There will be a remnant saved by grace that will discontinue worshiping the moon God allah to the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob. The book of revelation talks of the two witneses who will lay in the street those martyrs who will lose their heads by refusing to deny the Christ.
Our strongest Christians will come out of Islam.
The billion or more will remain.
I'm sure you didn't pray for Satan to become a Christian.
It's simply not in Gods will, neither is this.
We must ready for the final war

FOR GOD FREKIN SAKE! Ok will anyone get that you can not say christians only and not have other people say any thing! And I'm Buddhist and try and stop me from saying anything to get back to the point the terrorists can believe in what they want to. And no one really knows Jesus he's dead. Plus don't hold your breath about them "finding your lord " cause its not gonna happen over night

Wouldn't it be wonderful, if they could get to know Jesus? Think about it...there would be no more terrorists.

Both churches I have attended regularly since 9/11 have prayed that all terrorists will learn to know Christ and turn away from their paths of destruction.
Not those who flew the planes. it's to late for them. But those alive now.

Good question. We're so angry at them (and with VERY good reason) that we forget to pray for them. It seems like a hard and even hateful thing to do, but, what can we say? We have to pray that they come to the knowledge of the truth.

Matt 7:38
pray for the laborers, for there are few.
Unfortunately, many will know Jesus too late for a decision to be made

The 9/11 terrorists?
They can burn in hell forever, as far as I'm concerned.
I don't hope for evil to befall anyone... but I won't pray for THOSE people.
