I have a friend from another country and she is teaching in a city in the US. She would like to know the names that students call their teachers, good names and "bad" names so she can recognize them when they say those words in class. Please help! Thanks.

As a soon to be teacher, I would like to point out that I know Gibberish. Catching kids on that one will be amusing. Teachers get called all sorts of names, usually racial slurs.

In my school we never speak english when we make fun of teachers, we use a 'fake' language called gibberish. In other words, your most likely to just be confused 24/7 xD

In my school, the students call their teachers Mrs. [insert last name here], Ms. [insert last name here], Miss [insert last name here], or Mr. [insert last name here]. We call our principal Dr. [insert last name here] Because she has her Doctors degree. The students do not call the teachers bad names to their face, and rarely behind their back. One teacher is named Mr. Mancuso, and he has a gay sounding voice, so some kids call him Mr. Mangayso. I think its pretty immature, in my opinion. But there isn't much picking on teachers.

P.S. Another teacher named Mr. Testa introduced himself as Mr. Testes, etc. He said you could call him whatever you wanted ;)

u really can never tell. at my school, we use words that would sound good, but they are really bad! like we will say "that's real nice. that's real good." and that really means "f-k you bi*ch" so u will never really know. the teacher just needs to learn the kids' personality's and she will figure out who is being nice and who is being a little jerk.
