I don't think this is a correct statement. Men tend to think that women have all the control and options. That might be true if the woman was looking for sex like most men are. Most women look for love and in that respect men seem to hold the cards.

No. It really depends on the specific match-up. Some woman consider the guys they date to be more attractive/have more options. I mean, think Donald Trump for one example, sure his wife is very attractive, but I'm sure she knows he can always get another supermodel if he wants. Hence, the jealousy thing.

Only if they're not ugly and they all have rapidly and continually diminishing expectations as they age from v. early on.
