How do you make your calves smaller?

so you got some meat hooves do ya now. Well that's easy first thing first is you need to loose a little fat. Once you loose the outer layer of fat then you need to start doing Calve excercises that will trim and tone them. I recommended the following routine a minimum of 3 times per week. (Calves are probably one of the most stubborn muscles in the entire human body, so you must work work them.)

Calve Raises - 3 sets of 15 repitions
Description of exercise: Stand, or hold on to something to support your balance and simply raise your body up with until your on the "balls" of your feet. Hold for a count of 2 seconds and then come back down. Rest 30 seconds inbetween sets for a total of 45 reps.)

Donkey Calve Raises - 4 sets of 15 reps
Description of Excercise: Find a bench, chair or couch, bend over with your back straight and your feet together. now just raise up onto the balls of your feet, hold for a count of 2, then come back down. You will do 2 sets with your feet straight ahead and then 2 sets with your feet slightly spread and pointing inward, this will work the different heads of the calve muscle and tone it appropriately.

Along with Stair stepping and walking these are probably the best excercises for your calves. You should see results in 2 to 4 weeks, depending on if you stick to it.

Drink Water, a lot (minimum of 8 cups a day, I know some that drink a gallon of water a day) to get rid of the salt in your body, lots of salt tends to cause that bloating look and may cause unneeded swelling of the lower extremities.

For the first few workouts your calves are going to fell like they are on fire, that's good, it's painful but that means your stimulting them. Do not use weights, just your body weight with high reps between 15 and 20 reps max. If you ad weights, you'll build muscle and your trying to trim them down.

Wow thats a first...Well I would say doing alot of sprints and jog. and less weight lifting and less walking...When you sprint or jog the calve muscle strectches out.. How many times have you seen a long distence runner or a really fast sprinter with huge calves???

I know two ways..one isn't healthy at all...so i'll give you the healthy one...you will probably have to do less exercises that focus on your legs...do long stretches maybe something like pilates or yoga.

i dont know....i guess if your working out your legs......maybe use less weight when working out your calves......but if you just have big calves....then sorry i dont know the answer.......but tell me how do you get bigger calves.....i want bigger calves!
