My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.

On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.

The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!

Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.

Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.

Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Don't rely too much on the diet. Just try harder on the exercises.

I eat as much as I want yet I still stay at a good weight (or slightly "underweight"). Why? Because I stretch, and do like 60 pushups daily, and I'm still planning to increase my limits like 10 more every week or something.

You can try this, BUT if you have like some illness/disability or such that impairs your fitness/exercising, then I wouldn't recommend this.

I eat mostly fruits and veggies but a wide variety...mix them up...sprinkle a few walnuts, shrimp or a hard boiled egg in with salads..fat-free cottage cheese or salsa (which is typically fat free and has 10 cals per serving) can be used to add flavor to salads...You must change the way you think about food..I enjoy each meal because I think about all the healthy nutrients and vitamins I am putting in my body. I don't cut out carbs but I do choose multigrian ones. Chicken, turkey, and fish are also in my diet.give yourself a low fat treat once a day at most..litke a fudge bar or fat free cookie or frozen yogurt. Skip mayo, butter any high fat flavor enhancers..use spices to make things tasty....of course exercise. try to drink at least one cup of green tea and cut out all pop..especially diet pop...

you dont have to just eat veggies and salads all the time, its not all just about eating so healthy, its proportions/servings and not over doing how much foods are bad for you. and a little snack to help your craving of your certain food isn't a bad thing.
