It's sad to me. He did so much good.....he would have been a very influential Christian. And yes, may God bless his wife and children. And may they find Him, before it's too late for them. But really, none of us know what decisions Steve may have made in his own heart. : )

His poor family. It sucks that hoaxes like that get generated when beloved non-Christian celebrities die. Though I'll bet Christians do it to feel better about the idea that otherwise, a very nice person would be hunting crocodiles in hell, according to their theology.

Yeah, this is a tactic that Christians love: so-and-so converted just before death, but they can't prove it. They don't even try to do it with Charles Darwin any more.

You have to do more than Just believe, you must do what Jesus did and be batized and circumsized if yiour a male. According to the bible.
