as long as you are both above 18 and are open and honest then age doesn't matter. i'm sure that there are 26 year old guys who like older woman. so good luck and enjoy.

Go for it! There are younger men attracted to older women and if the two of you find each other and hit it off, then congratulations!
OK, so maybe his mother won't be thrilled if you're only a few years younger than she is. If he's not a Mama's boy then it shouldn't matter what she thinks if he likes you.
I've dated younger men, too, and the only problem is some of them want to have their own biological kids (adopting isn't "good enough" for them) and that could be a problem since, at 44, you're in a "high risk" category for pregnancy.
But if he's not into having kids and more into having "fun," then I say go for it. My younger boyfriends have commented about how great it is to be with an older woman who is confident in herself and willing to admit that she likes sex!

You go girl. Go after what you want and don't doubt yourself. You know what will make you happier. My last 2 relationships have been with younger men, the first one was a learning experience for the the current one who amazing. I have learned to curb my instinct to mother and give advice. I accept that he is younger and even if I think he is unwise, I realize that he may be where he should be at his age. I allow him to fall even if I know he is misguided and don't say I told you so. Otherwise, resentment builds up and he may feel emasculated. In order for an older woman/younger man relationship to work, he needs to be independent and respected. Also, the sex is better with younger guys in my experience. They are also more openly affectionate. I am not sure why because I see married older men as affectionate. Maybe single guys who are older and have been burnt many times and are more reserved as a result.

That is natural. 50 year old men would prefer an 18 year old over some old shrew. It is natural to like beautiful young people because their bodies aren't yet wracked by time. It is a fantasy, just ignore it, or if you think you got enough junk in your trunk, go for it.

u never grew up.. u r stll 20 in your mind heart and soul. u watch too much mtv. its similar to 38yr men looking at 19yr girls.
so instead of looking left, try looking what on the right. begin meeting men.

i saw a situation like this on dr. phil last week. i don't thinks abnormal, so you have nothing to worry about, except how the public will view your choices. but your choices have nothing to do with how others look at you.
