If you mean Braziilian Quimbanda (or Zarabanda), yes I've heard of it. It's basically Satanism. It's a form of Santeria but it focuses more on black magic. Exu Rei is their primary devil. Most rituals take place in a circle painted or drawn on the floor that looks like a cirlce with pitchforks making a cross. They offer animal sacrifices.
Unlike the American Laveyian Satanists, the Quimbandas believe the devil is real.

The Portuguese black magic witch craft is called kubrunk. I have been searching for someone who still practice's the old ways. My grandma told me my mom was possessed by a very strong demon when she was 3 years old. My great aunt took her to a lady in San Jose California. The lady I'd not alive anymore.
But the lady was able to take it out of my mother and took it in her body. Then she put it in a mirror & smashed it. And took it to where 5 points meet in a bag. And threw it behind her. She said no one look back or it will come back in someone & stronger.... that sent it back to hell. But the lady was 30 years old had the blackest hair ever. After she took it and put it in the mirror the lady's hair was all grey. She looked like she aged a lot.... I want to find her.

I wasn't aware there was a particular form of black magic associated with the Portuguese. Where did you here about it?

Magic of any kind is EXTREMELY dangerous. You are playing with the spirit world. DONT get near it. It will haunt you for the rest of your life. I messed around with a Oija board once and my life has NEVER been the same. I am attacked by demons and my children are too.

Portugal is 97% Roman Catholic, so any witchcraft would be done on like a small village seer type basis.
