Actually, just because you're having sex doesn't mean you're going to have an orgasm.

Not at all. Especially when you consider that in the span of every 24 hours, 1 billion people have an orgasm. (a fun fact to know)
(And hopefully it was the result of 12 billion orgasms, unless the guys were really crap and the women all faked it. It's most likely somewhere between 6 and 12)

You are partly right but it would be better to say that the six billion people in this world is the result of six billion successes of six biliion sperm cells meeting and finding six billion egg cells whereupon their collision resulted to six billion pregnancies.
A woman may get pregnant without having an orgasm at all. Pregnancy results when a woman's fertilized egg meets a sperm cell from the man during their sexual encounter. A woman, generally, has at least one fertilized egg cell in a month's time. For multiple pregnancies such as those of twins, triplets, etc., she has had produced two, or three at that time.

Not weird, but (I hope) incorrect. Assuming a population of 6 billion, at least six billion orgasms, possibly up to twelve billion.

Take every thought and test it and analyze it. Think about it! Muse on it. Then toss it if doesn't make sense. Otherwise, screw what others think about your own thoughts.
It would be nice though if it were true that 6 billion living, breathing, thinking and feeling souls were the product of a healthy and happy relationship between two really great people. So no, I don't think its weird.
