There may be something up with this years Jewish New Year.

New Moon 22.

Feast of the Trumpets 23

Sabbath 22 (Hebrew at sunset) or 23

Autumn Equinox 22 (in most of America 12:03 am New York) 23 in Jerusalem

Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
"knoweth" is a completed past tense verb in Matthew 24:36.
Strong's number G1492

I can't say that I KNOW that the Rapture is going to happen this coming Sabbath, but this is very different this year. Remember to keep you eyes on Jesus Christ. Stay in faith! Look to Him!

I did ask for Christians. I don't mind others saying something but you can at least be polite and maybe a little humble. I don't think it's the end of the world. I think that would be impossible.

Of, course, you assumed that I did. Typical.

I have been a church scholar and teacher for more than 40 years, and I can assure you the thing that some modern American biblicalists call the "Rapture" is not going to happen.

The idea of the so-called "rapture" is completely un-biblical and has nothing to do with any long-standing religious tradition.

If you want to quote scripture, try Matthew 16. In that chapter the Jesus character is reported as saying to a group of people, "Truly I tell you, there are people here in this room who will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom with power and great glory."

Every Sunday morning a few more people wake up and smell the coffee and say, "Y'know what? He ain't coming! And I have better things to do with my Sunday morning. I hereby reclaim this day for ME!"

And that is why the Christian faith (and all other supernaturally-based religions, as well) is dying out in our time. It all made sense in an earlier time, when people believed that wind was a supernatural force and that the universe was divided into three compartments like the layers of a cake.

But we don't believe those things any more. So only a very few people still claim to believe in things like the "rapture." And fewer every day.

As for those who look forward to it, I am sorry. Suck it up. Get with some friends and go out for a nice meal and a concert or something. Enjoy the life that we have now. In reality we are concerned with no other, and if we claim to be, we are grasping at straws.

Every blessing...

Hello? Most Jewish holidays follow THEIR calendar and their calendars FOLLOW the moon on alot of stuff. Such as the VERNAL EQUINOX (PASSOVER CELEBRATION) or The Lord's Supper is always on the 1st Full Moon AFTER the Vernal Equinox. So, for one of their holidays to fall on or near a full moon is quite common.

Wow, who hadany idea that a bunch of moveable holidays that take place in the same month would eventually end up on the same day! Crazy!

I don't know when He will get here, but I do know He will be right on time.
The best advice I ever heard:
Try to live your life so that, when He does come back, He won't be ashamed of you!

You silly cultists, waiting, hoping, and praying for the end of the world. Do you really like to worship death?
