the guy i am dating wants to wait but i dont want to and i keep telling him that he says no lets wait so its special. i don't want to build up this huge anticipation of great sex bc we all know the first time is always a time of adjustment to the other persons style. what do i do? why the hell does he want to wait...hes a guy! he's only been with a couple of other girls.

It could be that he has regrets from the past relationships and the girls he has been with. Obviously, those relationships did not work out and sex probably complicated the matter more when it came time to break up. If that is the case, it may be that he wants to be certain that you are the right one for him prior to making a committment to become involved sexually. If you will wait (without nagging him for sex) you will find out if your relationship is meant to be, versus just adding your name to the list of the other girls he has been with.
Oh, and by the way, it is a good thing to wait to have sex that is special, with the right person; it will save a lot of heartache and will keep your name from getting dragged through the mud repeatedly. By saying that "He's only been with a couple of other girls" indicates to me your experiences far outweigh that, so I am not so certain that you will fully understand any of this.

My last bf and me waited for 6 months! We spent 3 months just talking and hanging out here and he left for another country for 3 months. When he came back though we were banging in the back of his car! He just wanted to take the time to get to really know me. Believe me, I did everything I could to get his "fortune in my cookie" but we waited anyway!

My cousin is a guy, and he went through that same problem, he wanted to wait until marriage, and this girl didn't, she just jumped right on top of him and wanted to do him, but he said no. I guess its a christian thing, for him it was.

you should respect his decision. There are many other things you can do together without actually having intercourse. Cyber sex, phone sex, oral sex, masterbate alone or together, kiss, cuddle, etc... But if he really wants to wait then that is exactly what you should do.

Maybe he really likes you or maybe he's scared of intimacy. If you really like him you'll be understanding and wait for the right time. It all might be worth it..... Good Luck!
