Is formally dressing for high school considered nerdy? I'm a junior and wanted to wear a dress shirt, tie, jeans and a blazer to school. What do you think?

Thats smooth dawg.. You are being original. and setting standards.. All those kids wearing baggy jeans and long white shirts will realize it only when they get to their late 20s.. but you are already there.

It is only the STYLE of dress shirt, tie, jeans & blazer that can come off nerdy. Just make sure your isht is fashionable, sun; and rethink the TIE. Not that it would necessarily be nerdy, but ties are less fashionable (even with dress shirt and blazer) than they used to be.
Play your cards right & the potential to make a really original impact is great. Trust: Even if the fellas hate, the ladies will LOOOooove it.
Whatever you do, my dude, just be COOL... And u can't go wrong! ;-)

Yes I already told you this. You must be a nerd, or else you are stuck up and think you are better then everyone else. Unless everyone is dress this way, you are kind of a nerdy.
