For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility.

Because satan is a man made concept, man created evil not God,by refusing to admit when you are wrong, bringing false witness, killing your brother, coveting what your neighbor has and so on the Ten Commandments.

Many call themselves christians on Sunday and are hypocrites the rest of the week believing that an act of contrition will save them.

God is good, but we were created with freedom to choose to do what is good or what is bad. The point of free will is the difference between being brow beaten into belief and accepting what you know is the truth because you know and have faith. Look at the world and the countries where people don't have free will, do you want to live there? What about slavery in America when it was accepted, generations were raised to believe that whites were better than blacks, and some still do. The blacks were not given a choice as to whether or not they wanted to become slaves were they, that is the difference between free will. You have a choice to do good or to do bad, you choose.

People who rage war and terrorize are not following God's commandments, or Jesus' way, Jesus didn't fight off the Roman army and commanded his apostles not to, and he replaced the Roman's ear that had been cut off. Doing evil things is not God's way but man's. Stop blaming God for all the evil that man do. Read the Bible and pray that Jesus' time to come and judge is close so the suffering of human kind can finally end, for all time.

God did not create the world to be evil....It simply turned that way because of free will in human beings...
and the point of free will, is to have God see how we pass the tests and trials we get in life. How we react to them, whether we chose good or evil.,..
Of course God is good...and of course Satan is evil....It's up to us to chose which way to follow, once we know better....
God could destroy Satan, and God will...but it's not the right time. Also if there was no evil in this world, how would we know what good or greatness is?
God has allowed satan to roam the world, but only for a certain amount of time; after that, Satan will be cast into Hell, and destroyed completely; The world is getting worse as there is more and more evil; and it just means that satan knows his time is limited and he must see how many souls he can turn away from God......
There is so much that can be said about this interesting subject...

God created the Universe. Then he created the Angels.Because God wants his creation to love Him ,He has to give them free will.Otherwise they are just abunch of wound up robots. They must choose to love or not to love.Lucifer chose to rebel against God and convince a 1/3 of the Angels to follow him.He thought he could overthrow God ,and he was cast down to Earth. He sort of ruled the Earth until God created Adam and gave him dominion.Satan(his new name :means the advesary)new he had to get Adam to sin to wrest away his dominion.Adam had the choice when Eve presented the fruit(not an apple)to eat or not to eat...he ate.He fell from perfect innocence.
Now,God always does things in time. For example the Amorites were a very sinful people(human sacrifice, burning their 1rst borns on a red hot altar to the god Molech, and on and on..)God told Abraham he would give them 450 years to repent after that ....well,they didn't and that's why Joshua cleaned house. Before the flood God said he'd give man 120 yrs to repent ...they didn't and He flooded them. It's the same with Satan ...read Rev. 19 thru 21 you 'll see what happens to Satan.
Peter says "A day with the Lord is a thousand years and a thousand years but a day to Him".
See? It's only been a couple days.

God didn't create a world of evil. When God created the world it was good...it was perfect. But Satan (a fallen angel) thought he should have as much power as God...he was jealous. So he was kicked out of heaven.
The point of free will is that each person has to make their own decisions...God wants people to serve him willingly .
God will destroy Satan when the time is right. The prophecies of the Bible has to be fulfilled first.

If God destroyed satan before the cross, then there would still be questions in heaven whether God did the right thing, because they lived sinless, and have no idea of the effects of sin, so God allowed its effects to bear fruit, and at the cross of calvary when satan stirred up everyone to crucify the son of God, and Jesus defeated satan by an act of love and not hate, both satan's and God's character have been truely vindicated to the whole hosts of heaven.

Of course satan knows he has but a short time in which to deceive the whole world, God does not destroy him yet, because he still gives man a chance to choose, God or satan. If satan was destroyed now, God would have to destroy all people except them that are already saved, without giving them the chance to choose God or satan.

Don't worry, when the end comes and you see the golden city God's character will be truely vindicated to the whole human race, and satan, after seeing it, will still try to destroy God.

Hopefully when this happens we will be inside the golden city New Jerusalem, and not on the outside awaiting hellfire to destroy us.

He does it because there are still more people out there that need to hear the Gospels and need to turn to Jesus Christ and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, he took the keys of death and Hell away from Satan. Before that happened, Satan was still in the sense of eternity and he had unlimited time and resources. When Jesus took that away from him, Satan entered into our time, which is called linear time. Satan's time is now limited and his end is very near. That is why Jesus said, "The Kingdom of Heaven is drawing near." Also too, Jesus' last words on the cross were, "It Is Finish." What is finish? jesus conquering death, Hell, and Satan. You see in God's world He already won the victory over Satan. But since linear time is different than God and our world is not of the Lord's, then we are still waiting for the events that will come around that will lead to the complete and utter destruction of Satan, death, and evil.

God's plan for humanity is perfect and just. He wants more people to turn to him. He is still waiting for His true believers to get off their lazy butt and make a difference in this world for Him. As a Christian, it is our duty to "go into the nations preaching the Gospel, so that all may hear."

God didn't create the world of evil. Evil existed it just had no power. Free will is a choice that God gives us. We either reject or accept Him. For those who accept Him eternal life is given, for those who reject Him are subject to judgement and condemnation. Jesus wants us to look to Him for answers and the deicisions we makes. their was a footnote in my Bible that explained about the free-will and how God does not force us to do something

Good question:
Its not a matter of if, God is all powerful. I'm surprised that you did not know that.
Satan is God's servant. God uses Satan to fulfill His Will. Read the Book of Job sometimes when you have time. You will understand clearer then.
Its not a matter of if God is so good, God is so good, and is able to take nothing and turn it into everything.
God's servant, Satan, is testing you right now. God has given you a free will to choose His Son Jesus Christ or not. Not choosing Jesus is automatically choosing Satan.
Just set a little more time each day at your Bible studies and allow God to open your eyes to His Word is all you need.><>

Not only can he destroy satan, it is written that he will do so. He allows satan to roam around for a designated period of time to help separate the wheat from the chaff. You are given a lifetime to make a commitment that will last an eternity. God wants you with him, but only if you come to him willingly. Why would he want someone to come to him out of insincerity simply because they were told to? You must exercise freewill to make sure your decisions are in line with God's will. It is satan's job to persuade you to take the path of least resistance.

Satan has already been conquerored, when Jesus died on the cross and took our sins. He made the devil loose his grip on us. But he's still out there. In the unknown future, when Jesus returns, God will trample over Statan, and throw that fallen angel into the Lake of Fire to parish in agony for ever and ever, just as all nonbelievers will perish.

And that's next on the list of Gods great plans for man kind. He keeps the devil with his retched schemes because he wants us to face challanges and can even use Sin itself for his will.

The point of free will. Maybe God got sick of playing with robots and wanted someone "in His image" to talk to or to corroborate creations.

Why does the devil keep bugging us? His time is limited. While it is still the age of grace, he tries to steal souls from God's care. When the age of judgment arrives, he will be bound for a thousand years. After that, he will be separated from God's presence (and the saved) and we will be free from his temptation for good.
