I'm addicted too, but there are worse things to be addicted to, so I console myself with that. However, I do suggest that you at least sleep and interact with those in your life. It makes for a nice break and it can be quite enjoyable too. Remember, the computer will always be here, but those you love might not. Don't forget to spend time with them to let them know that you love them and that they're important to you. Even more important than anything else.

I spend time I would normally spend vegging in front of the TV. It is good to talk to people and learn. It is also better than running out and blowing a lot of money shopping. Healthier than getting high, scarfing down too much food, or drinking. It is constructive rather than destructive and I must say I have learned much. However, spend time doing other fun stuff. Also, go to work when you are supposed to. And for goodness sake, don't forget to bathe...sorry, you can't take the computer to the shower with you...don't worry..you'll live. :-)

As a level 2 user, you cannot be answering questions ALL day, you would run outa chances pretty quick! Unless you are so hopeless in your addiction that you have 5 or 6 ID's you are using everyday...

I started setting a time limit for myself. I was spending to much time here just reading questions and looking for some that I felt I could answer.

Spend al l the money u have then see which one attracts u the Yahoo solutions or the activity.U mentioned if Ur life had no longer been so complicated u does no longer had needed to hunt for any suggestion, yet u did no longer narrate Ur difficulty. that could have made us straight forward to advise u some thing subsequently.

Get rid of your internet access. FORCE yourself to get off by getting rid of your internet :P Although i think that may be a little bit too extreme....or try looking for a new addiction :) an addiction to replace this one

Click the red X. Click log off. Click shut down. Stand up. Walk to your pet, child, lover, spouse, parent, or whatever....and spend time with them. Good luck.

why would you want to, isn't it fun!!!! But if you really want to start regaining control of your life then limit yourself to say 50 questions a day at first and then as the weeks go on, limit yourself more until you come to a comfortable spot.
